If you read the headline above as “Hamas distorts reality,” check it again. Hamas means “violence” in Hebrew. As an organization, it was founded in 1987, with the complete destruction of Israel, and all Jews, codified in its founding charter.
In the other hand, Haman, a historical figure in the book of Esther, was the CEO or Prime Minister at the king’s right hand. Haman, like Hitler and other antisemites, believed all Jews to be unworthy of living in society:

Purim Season: Remember who Haman was: A Jew-hater. For no reason. His hatred caused him to distort reality, so that he fantasized the Jews to be wicked on the whole, and thus unredeemable.
