USA’s Chief of Defense sought a meeting in Washington with Gallant, Israel’s Defense Minister on Oct 9. I saw that as the USA’s attempt to pressure Israel to go easy on Iran, now that the Biden/Harris administration is committed to the Obama/Biden policy of building up Iran to become a major superpower in the Mideast.
Meanwhile as Vice President, Harris skipped her Constitutional mandate to preside over the Joint Houses of Congress just because Netanyahu was the invited guest speaker, and Pres. Biden has not called nor spoken to Netanyahu in weeks. Instead Biden has leaked insults and verbal attacks to the press.
Thus, Netanyahu did not permit Defense Minister Gallant to travel to USA without a call from Biden first. The USA Pentagon confirmed that the meeting was cancelled or postponed.
