The attacker, the Omani copilot, used a small knife, not an axe from the cockpit equipment to stab the Indian captain.
It was the Omani who opened the door, because he tried to kick the Indian Captain out of the cockpit in order to crash the plane alone without interference.
The heroic passenger interviewed below did not hear any “Alahu Akbar.”
Saudi Arabia deserves respect for taking care of the passengers, even without diplomatic relations with Israel.
Yet, Saudi Arabia refused entry to El Al and IDF military planes.
The deadheading pilots in the back were in shock, frozen, and required heavy shaking from the Israeli passenger, and once in the cockpit at the controls, only one of tbe two was any help to fly the plane.

Oman nearly joined the Abraham Accords, but did not quite do so before their premier passed away. As such, the Omani pilot should not have been on any crew flying to or from Israel, as Israel has agreements with all airlines that only pilots from countries with official relations with Israel will fly to Israel.
