Israelis risked their sons’ lives to protect civilians in Gaza. IDF soldiers stood guard, protecting Gazans as they fled from from Hamas-controlled areas into safe neighborhoods. The IDF warned residents before demolition of military asset structures. These are the only reasons why 80% of the population didn’t fall along with the buildings and tunnels.
