Egypt, along with the rest of the Arab world, has been scrambling to come up with any idea better than Trump’s “Gaza Riviera” concept.
What Egypt came up with:
- No concept of how to reconstruct Gaza safely with the population still in place
- Leave Hamas in place to rule Gaza afterward, or “reduce them gradually,” a cover-up for rebuilding terror tunnels
- $53B budget to rebuild
So far, “Gaza Riviera” solution is the winner. But will Trump’s proposal be selected, eventually, or refused?
