Just now, a missile from Hez in Lebanon struck a private home in Kiryat Shmona in the North. The family was home, in bomb shelter, and saved:

Between 4 and 7 missile barrages this morning. One scored a hit in civilian city just outside Tel Aviv, seriously injuring two children with at least ten others with less serious injuries:

Day 25 of Operation Roaring Lion/Epic Fury:  I was involved in my Proverbs Prayer Walk and Davidic Dance at 7:29 this morning when I heard the Early Warning sms text message from Home Front Comment, here in Shomron (Samaria) in Central Israel.

I decided to head to the apartment immediately in order to be just 3 steps away from my bomb shelter if necessary.  No sooner did I approach my apartment door when I heard the local air raid sirens at 7:32 am.

I entered the apartment, went into the bomb shelter, called the cats inside and latched the vault door shut.  Within 60 or 120 seconds we heard loud explosions, relatively close by.  Then we waited from about 7:35 am until 7:43 am when the “all clear” text sms came to the phone from Home Front Command and we exited the bomb shelter.

Here’s what those explosions were:  Iran scored six direct hits this morning, in Rosh haAyin, Samaria, and Tel Aviv. Some of it is missile shrapnel, and one is a 100kg warhead; initially reported that at least 6 wounded, recently revised to 4, and none are hospitalized.

So this was over 200 missiles from Lebanon overnight – only a couple of light injuries. These photos are only of the leftovers after the missiles have been intercepted in midair. Imagine if this shrapnel landed on a vehicle, home, or pedestrian?
