Very sad that the National Security minister Itamar Ben Gvir, in charge of police, made mention of this tragedy, without a word about the Arab gangland killings (among Arab Israeli citizens) which occurred in the same hour:
Gang killings are common in the situation with Arab Israeli gang warfare (Arab on Arab) and truly this is a nuanced and challenging situation. Arab Israeli police would be perhaps best suited for dealing with that, rather than Jewish Israeli police; However the stabbing of the rabbi probably amounts to a mental illness case.
At any rate, continue to pray for peace in Israel and comfort for the families affected.
