Dogma: That thing inside the mind (and in the Collective consciousness) which blocks wisdom and understanding–Or that elevates logic above the truth. If one accepts the plain meaning of Scripture, that will then oppose Dogma–the “accepted interpretation” –and one loses his benefits and position. And all the others members of the “in-crowd” are also bound by the secret pact to back each other up in a circular support network of collusion to enhance the coercion.
So the whole thing is a big manmade structure of tight-knit relationships – gordian knots – like a mafia – it even elevates itself above YAH in its strength (“1000 rabbis can overturn Hashem’s decision,” so they claim). And that is exactly how Pharisees and Sadducees missed the Messiah: Dogma.
Dogma is also how Catholics, Protestants, even Messianics miss the Plain Meaning of Scripture:
- A Rabbinic example: While the Plain Text points to two different arrivals of Messiah, one Suffering, the other Victorious, “we” only get excited about the Victorious coming – AND “we” insist that Messiah’s coming will verify and establish “our” sect as The Correct Sect.
- A Catholic example: Nevermind that the majority of Revelation 20 is occupied with The Millennium sandwiched between the first and second resurrection, “we” have decided that “our pope” IS the effectual vicarious reigning king messiah on the earth; therefore, Rev 20 is therefore poetic and there is no literal thousand year reign: “We” overthrow the Plain Meaning thru “our” consensus.
- A Protestant example: Although the Plain Text states that YAH’s Word will never change until the New Heaven and a New Earth of Revolution 21, which is, at a minimum of one thousand years from today (on whichever day our Dear Reader finds this article–as long as it’s prior to the First Resurrection of Rev 20:5– “we” declare that the fourth commandment is irrelevant even though the other nine still stand.
- A Messianic example: Although the Plain Text of Ephesians 2:15 states the dividing wall has been torn down, “we” choose to confound that by Romans 11:29 to re-assert a tribal difference and a division of people groups: Thus, non-Jewish followers of Y’shua are Second Class, and that wall was never destroyed.
- Pray in this manner now:
“Abba, Creator of All, I ask that You free my mind from any dogma and any thought pattern that contradicts Your Word.”
