Remember for a moment that thru Israel, every Gazan was previously offered $50k USD plus free passage to a safe country in return for one hostage (Prisoner of War) given up to Israel. Not a single Gazan accepted that offer. They chose to continue the war.
Not to mention that in 2007 they all voted for a Hamas government soon after Israel gave them the free mini-state of Gaza.
And of course on Oct 7 thousands of Gazans danced and celebrated in the streets while Israeli POWs were dragged thru their streets being kicked and beaten, dead or alive, including little children, women, and the elderly.

But now according to that poll, half of them now would like Israel to assist their departure.
Why? Because I see that the USA is angling to make more peace with more of the moderate Arab nations. In 2021 when Trump left the White House, Saudi Arabia was very very close to signing the Abraham Accords. Of course, the Biden/Harris administration had no interest in more peace with more Arabs, so they sat on their hands and let the deal fade. Now that Trump is back, Saudi Arabia is again close to signing. So the goal is for moderate Arab nations to join together with Israel and the USA to be strong and take a stand against the Iranian axis.
Let’s take a moment and celebrate that children are being rescued and child sex offenders are getting arrested and taken to have their trials in court:

Decades ago, Ron Wyatt conducted an amateur investigation of this boat-shaped structure in the Mountains of Ararat, using what he said was the best underground X-ray technology available at the time. His team showed videos of large iron rivets which could have been used to fasten beams of wood together. They claimed that these thousands of iron artifacts mapped out a 3D framework of the skeleton of a boat with ribs which matched the Biblical dimensions described in the book of Genesis.
Ron Wyatt’s work has its fair share of supporters and critics. Coming up will be the first professional investigation conducted by the archeological community:
Captured from Jerusalem Post on 5 May, 2025.
Reading the article, it occurs to me that the earthquake that uncovered this strange shape on the hills occurred in May of 1948–the same month* and year of Israel’s Declaration of Independence and the start of the war:
“The Durupınar hill first drew attention in May 1948, after earthquakes and torrential rains stripped away overburden. Turkish Army Captain İlhan Durupınar re-examined the site in 1959 while mapping the region for NATO and forwarded his photographs to Ankara, giving the outcrop its current name.”
When Ron Wyatt noticed the arial photos in a publication, he thought that it looked boat-shaped and started to think about making a trip, which he did in the 1980’s.
Now in 2025 it appears that the professional archeologists have made headway in agreements with the Turkish government to finally get started.
*In 1948 on the Gregorian Calendar, Israel’s Independence was declared on May 14, which was the 5th of Iyar, the second month of the year which begins at Aviv, in the springtime, the month of Passover. Year to year, the 5th of Iyar* will appear on various days from April to May on the Gregorian Calendar. In the event that the 5th lands on a weekly Shabbat, the celebration day would be moved a couple days to honor the Shabbat which holds the higher position in honor.
Culture: Tomorrow, the air raid sirens will sound for 3 minutes starting at 10 am. The nation will rise and stand still in remembrance of those who have fallen while protecting us.
This is distinguished from the day last week which was remembrance of the Shoah (Holocaust).
Then, the following day is a celebration for Independence Day. (On the 5th* of Iyar, the Second Month. In 1948, it was named as the 14th of May on the Gregorian Calendar).
I think it’s so amazing that this nation, oddly, keeps the memorial day connected with the independence day, rather than separation of some months in between. The intention is: There’s no celebration of independence without giving respect to those who sacrificed – and continue to do so – for this independence which we enjoy. And then after the mourning, immediately celebrate because this is the result of their sacrifice. So celebrating independence is another way to honor the fallen.
Israel is the most life-affirming country I’ve ever experienced.

Remembering the Holocaust lest anyone try to repeat it.
